Overview
The Precincts Standing Advisory Committee was appointed by the Minister for Planning on 24 October 2023.
Precincts are areas with significant potential to support strategic planning priorities, including accommodating population and employment growth, attracting state significant investment, and creating sustainable and liveable communities.
The committee is asked to advise the minister on referred precinct planning matters, including:
- unresolved issues raised in submissions on draft precinct plans
- other strategic or statutory precinct planning matters as decided by the minister
