Great Ocean Road Region Standing Advisory Committee

Overview

The Great Ocean Road Region Standing Advisory Committee was appointed by the Minister for Planning on 13 April 2019.

The committee is asked to advise the minister on planning, ecological and landscape matters in the Great Ocean Road region.

This includes:

• planning scheme amendments
• planning permit applications
• policy
• any strategic matters relating to the Great Ocean Road Strategic Framework Plan.

The committee may also provide advice to the Minister for Environment and Climate Action on:

• the development or review of coastal and marine management plans
• consents to use marine and coastal Crown land.
